We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and UnionPay. You can also check out with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.
The Slow Nook is based in Singapore, where all orders are processed and shipped from.
At this time, once an order has been placed and payment made, we are not accepting any cancellations. Please check your items through before placing an order!
If you have placed an order and need to change your delivery information, please contact us at hello@theslownook.com with your order number as soon as possible and we will try our best to assist you.
If we have already processed your order when we receive your email, please note that additional shipment charges will be incurred to retrieve and book a re-delivery of your parcel.
The time it takes to pack and send out your orders is 5 working days (excluding the weekends and local public holidays). Thereafter, shipping time will vary depending on your location.
On occasion, there may be some delays as Luna is the sole person handling order fulfilment and may be swarmed during launch periods and peak seasons! If your order is time sensitive, please send in an email to hello@theslownook.com and we will help you as best as we can.

Shipping & Delivery
For local deliveries, we cannot deliver to certain restricted locations, such as Rifle Range, Jurong Island, military and civil defence camps, airports, or the offshore islands near Singapore. Additionally, deliveries to specific areas like Sentosa may involve extra fees, which we reserve the right to apply if necessary.
Yes we do! We ship to most places worldwide. International shipping costs applies and is adjusted based on the total weight of your order calculated at checkout.
We are trying our best to expand our shipping to reach more and more destinations. If your country is not included in our list, feel free to drop us an email at hello@theslownook.com so that we can see if it is possible to add it in for you to make your purchase!
- Local Orders (Singapore): We charge a flat fee of $4.50 for all local deliveries. Orders above $60 will qualify for free shipping, automatically applied at checkout.
- International Orders: Shipping cost varies depending on where you're at, and is calculated based on the total weight of your order at checkout. You will be able to see the final cost of shipping at checkout.
Please note that shipping costs for international orders do not include any customs or import tax that may be incurred and that the customer is solely responsible for paying for any of these tax or duties. Please familiarize yourself with your country's import laws before making a purchase.
As someone who also loves purchasing online from international stores, I totally understand the frustration when dealing with international delivery costs.
Unfortunately, it's something that is hard to work around due to the limitations of reliable international delivery services that are presently available to small brands, and we've done our best to source for the most affordable option we can find. We'll continue looking out for ways to lower shipping costs where feasible as we grow!
We're so sorry that we can only offer free delivery above a certain purchase value for local Singapore orders at the moment.
The cost of shipping is variable based on its international destination as well as the total weight of the order and hence it's not presently easy as a small brand to offer this. But in the future, if we find a feasible solution, we'd definitely love to make it work!
Orders are typically processed within 5 working days (excluding weekends and local public holidays) and shipping varies by location:
- Local (Singapore): 3-5 days
- International: 2-4 weeks

If you have not received your order after the stipulated timeframe has elapsed, please drop us an email at hello@theslownook.com so that we can look into the matter for you and assist as best as we can.
Returns & Refunds
At this time, we do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds due to a change of mind. Orders will only qualify for a return or refund if it arrives incorrect or damaged.
If your order has arrived damaged, defective, or you’ve received the incorrect items in your package, please send an email to hello@theslownook within 7 days of delivery and include photos of both the item and its packaging. We will happily address these on a case-by-case basis, and the items will be either replaced or refunded.
