About The Slow Nook
The Slow Nook was founded in 2024 by Luna, also known by her artist moniker luneggu, and is based in Singapore. Being born and raised in such a cutthroat, hyper-productive and fast-paced city, the heart of our brand is an amalgamation of all the things that Luna seeks in her winding journey to finding peace in a world that often leaves one feeling jaded and inconsequential.
The Slow Nook aims to grow into a space where one can find respite, inspiration and hope in for more intentional days.
It is currently a one-man show and run by Luna, with the occasional support of a small team of 3 when things get overwhelming!
About Luna
My journey started in university when I was studying a non-creative related degree and wondering if it was the path I wanted. Out of pure curiosity, I illustrated my first (rather shoddy) artwork in 2018 on the iPad I used to take lecture notes.
My love for all things creative, expressive and crafty bloomed from there, but my journey with slow living came later when worn down from corporate jobs that took from me more than it gave. I made the terrifying leap to put aside traditional notions of success and left my job to make creating the cornerstone of my world.
The Slow Nook is a space where I hope to inspire a subversion of an aggressively fast-paced world — from one jaded, modern soul to another.
