Orders will be processed and fulfilled from Singapore within 3-5 working days (excluding weekends and local Public Holidays). I have a small team supporting me, but am usually the only one packing and fulfilling orders, so seek your understanding that delays in processing times may sometimes occur during periods with a surge in orders such as sales seasons and product launches!

• Incomplete/Incorrect Address: If your package is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, we won’t be able to issue a refund. But don’t worry — we’ll happily work with you to get it sent out again. Just drop us a message to arrange for re-shipment, and we’ll let you know the additional shipping fee to get your order back on its way. To avoid this, we kindly remind you to double-check your address details (especially unit and house numbers) before placing your order — this helps ensure a smooth and timely delivery!

• Missed Delivery Attempts: Typically, delivery services will attempt a delivery up to 2 times if there is no one present to receive it. If delivery attempts fail because the recipient is unavailable to receive the package, the parcel may be returned to us or held by the carrier. In such cases, we won’t be able to issue a refund. Additional charges will apply for re-shipping or retrieving the parcel.

• Damages in Transit: We take extra care to ensure that your products are securely packaged to minimize damage during transit. Typically, online merchants do not bear liability for damage incurred to packages during shipping, but we value your experience with us! :-) If your order comes with any damaged products, we are willing to assist in finding a resolution for you on a case-by-case basis. All orders placed to a local Singapore address will be shipped at a flat rate of $4.50, with free shipping for orders above $60.  

Typically, your order should reach you within 3 working days after the courier has picked up your order. Do allow for some delays during peak periods such as holiday season due to an increase in nationwide courier demand.

Below are restricted areas that we are unable to deliver to:

• Rifle Range
• Jurong Island
• Military and civil defence camps
• Airport regions such as Changi Airport, Airline Road, Seletar Aerospace, etc.
• Offshore islands near Singapore such as Pulau Ubin, St John Island, Kusu Island, etc.

Additionally, deliveries to specific areas like Sentosa may involve extra fees not reflected in the flat rate that we will have to collect in order to process your order.

Our calculated shipping costs at checkout do not include any import duties or taxes. Any applicable import duties, taxes, or customs fees will be the responsibility of the customer to cover.

Many countries have import laws that may require you to pay taxes or customs fees for purchases from an overseas store. These charges are determined by your local customs office and are not within our control. We recommend checking your country’s import laws to understand potential costs before purchasing with us.

The Slow Nook cannot be held responsible for delays or returns caused by unpaid customs or duty fees and is unable to cover these costs.

Final shipping costs are variable based on your location and the tallied weight of the order. It is automatically calculated at checkout and does not include any import duties, taxes or custom fees.

I understand the woes of international delivery costs, and do my best to get the most affordable shipping rates available, thus, I am unable to offer free shipping discounts regardless of order value at present.
