Refund Policy

I've put a lot of love and care into everything I create and want you to feel delighted with your purchase. As a small business, though, we’re presently unable to offer returns, exchanges or refunds due to a change of mind. We truly appreciate your understanding and encourage you to take a moment to ensure you’re happy with your order before checking out.

However, if you encounter an issue with your order, don’t worry — we’re here to help! Below are the steps you can take to get in touch with us, and we’ll do our best to make things right.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

If an item in your order arrives damaged, faulty, or contains missing or incorrect items, please contact us at hello@theslownook.com within 7 days of receiving your order. To help us resolve the issue efficiently, please provide:

  • Clear photos of the item(s) in question, including the packaging it arrived in.
  • A brief description of the problem.

Once we’ve reviewed and confirmed the issue, we will offer one of the following resolution:

  • A replacement for the affected item(s), shipped to you at no additional cost.
  • A refund for the value of the affected item(s), processed to your original payment method.

At this time, any requests for an exchange will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Non-Liability for Shipping-Related Issues

The Slow Nook will not be able to provide a refund for the following shipping-related issues:

  • Delays: Unexpected delays caused by customs, local postal services, or other logistical disruptions.
  • Extra Fees: Additional fees such as import taxes, customs duties, or other charges imposed by your local authorities.
  • Incomplete/Incorrect Address: Orders returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address.
  • Missed Delivery Attempts: Orders returned to us after multiple missed delivery attempts due to the recipient being unavailable to receive the package.
  • Damages in Transit: Typically, online merchants do not bear liability for damage incurred to packages during shipping, but we value your experience with us! :-) If your order comes with any damaged products, we are willing to assist in finding a resolution for you on a case-by-case basis.
