Detailed Care Instructions
Do not put your bottle in the microwave
Our bottles are made with 304 stainless steel, which is a metal that is not safe for microwave use. Putting metal in a microwave can possibly cause a spark at best, and a fire at worst, not to mention damage to your microwave. Yikes!
Do not put your bottle in boiling liquid or the freezer
Extreme temperature changes such as placing your bottle in the freezer or in boiling liquid can damage the vacuum seal and the bottle. To keep the contents inside the bottle cool, we suggest adding a few ice cubes.
Do not use harsh chemicals and abrasives to clean our bottles
Please avoid using harsh chemicals, like bleach, to clean our bottles as they can damage the stainless steel material. Refrain from using abrasive materials such as scrub brushes and steel wool as these can scratch the stainless steel surface within the bottle. A dish sponge and dishwashing liquid will suffice to keep your bottles squeaky clean!
While our bottle is technically dishwasher safe, continuous long-term exposure to high heat in dishwashers could weaken the vacuum seal as well as chip the exterior of the bottle and warp the seals and rubber gasket on the insulated lids. We highly recommend handwashing your bottle to maintain its beautiful design and finish.
Carbonated and hot beverages may cause gas/steam buildup within the sealed bottle. We recommend securing lids tightly and allowing contents to cool slightly before drinking to avoid burns. Do not fill to the brim, hot liquids and carbonated contents may cause pressure to build up within the bottle and may leak or spray when opening the bottle. Always open with caution.
Our bottle lids are crafted from natural bamboo and finished with a protective varnish to help keep them in great condition. Like all wood-based materials, they do best when kept clean and dry.
To prolong the life of your lid, we recommend letting it dry completely after washing before storing it. Keep your bottle in a cool, dry place, ideally not enclosed areas like sealed cabinets, where humidity may collect over time.
