This issue explores how we always tend to look toward an ideal version of ourselves as a point to work towards, and how by comparison we tend towards feeling like the present versions can never measure up. I reflect about the importance of understanding how it is not the version of you that has done great things in the past or struggles to walk towards your dreams that matters most, but the one that constantly shows up in spite of everything.
